A mid-week update!
Our class video was just accepted into tomorrow morning's community meeting! The movie is only 4 1/2 minutes long (with each student in the class acting out a 10 second clip). We are presenting this year's reading challenge.... I dream, I wish, I believe, I am New Boston! Ask your child to tell you about our poems and the video! We are the last presentation of the meeting tomorrow (probably after 9:00), so IF you have time and would like to come to the community meeting, feel free to join us.
The students did an outstanding job with the math portion of the AIMSWEB testing this morning. We earned 5 rocks in the process; hard work earns rewards and we are looking forward to having another class party in the near future!
Tomorrow is the unit 4 math test as well as the cumulative test. Previously, the students had completed 4 (yes 4!) study guides that covered the skills found on the test tomorrow. I think we are ready!
Monday's field trip was a success. The filmmaker followed us through the state house and at the end of our tour a News 9 anchorwoman approached Mrs. McNish and myself and raved about how respectful the students were. We gleamed with pride! Kudos to you, the parents, for raising such responsible, respectful children!
Have a Great Evening!
